Steve is the CEO of Inland Imaging LLC and has overarching responsibility for managing the strategic direction and success of all the Inland companies.
Steve started with Inland Imaging in late 1984, when Inland opened its first imaging center with six radiologists and 25 employees. He has worked with the radiologists in the practice to expand Inland Imaging to 75 radiologists, 6 vascular surgeons, and nearly 700 employees working in three states, and five imaging centers.
His background in public accounting, coupled with an MBA has helped guide Inland through many changes in the regional and national health care environments. Working with Providence Health & Services and Banner Health Systems (two large US hospital organizations), Steve saw the value in partnering with hospitals to provide radiology services and business support for that activity.
Steve’s specialties are strategic planning, hospital relationship management, marketing, and financial analysis.
Jon Copeland
CEO : Business and Technology
As CEO, Jon is responsible for the financial and operational performance of all aspects of Inland Imaging Business Associates. Jon has been successful in assembling and motivating an experienced team of professionals who provide consulting and direction to a variety of healthcare organizations, agencies, and governments.
Previously, Jon led the Inland Imaging Information Technology Services team for more than ten years. Jon’s training and experience across many industries and organizations, make him a unique resource in any medical group’s attempt to implement and operate new healthcare information technology services.
Jon is innovative and forward-thinking, keeping abreast of technologies and applications that will positively influence the delivery of healthcare services, information, and achieve cost-efficiencies.
Jon previously worked for a large radiology practice group in Sacramento, California. Previous to healthcare Jon worked in and managed teams in the biotechnology, manufacturing and distribution industries.
Cole Hanford
CIO
Cole Hanford has been with Inland since 1997. He is responsible for all aspects of the Inland Imaging IT service delivery and operation, including software development and platform expansion.
He has contributed immensely to building a multi-state computer network connecting over 200 servers and 8000 users, granting instant access to over 25 terabytes of online data. His breadth of knowledge in extremely technical areas of radiology systems and networking are a great asset to Inland Imaging.
The IT staff he oversees is comprised of approximately 50 professionals and provides application service provider (ASP) services for Philips iSite PACS, IDX Flowcast practice management and billing systems, IDX Imagecast Radiology Information Systems, and Allscripts Electronic Medical Record Systems. The team also provides systems integration and development, general information technology implementation, networking, pc and overall helpdesk support.
Cole is widely known in the information services industry and his ability to lead multi-functional work teams. He also serves as an adjunct professor at Gonzaga University of Spokane, teaching and lecturing on healthcare systems and delivery.
Dan Hiebert
CRO
Dan Hiebert is the Inland Imaging Chief Revenue Officer, responsible for payor contracting, reimbursement, data management/informatics, and billing services. Dan’s previous experience as the associate administrator of the Rockwood Clinic makes him uniquely qualified in the area of optimizing the processes and systems associated with practice management .
He joined our team in 2006, bringing with him nearly 20 years of experience in financial/data analysis. Dan has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Eastern Washington University and an MBA from Gonzaga University.
Lindley Armiger
Corporate Compliance Officer
Lindley has over 30 years of healthcare systems experience. In her current role, Lindley is responsible for ongoing activities related to the organization and development of high quality document management processes to maximize customer satisfaction.
She actively assists in design, monitoring and process improvement of appropriate processes. Lindley is the Inland HIPAA Compliance Officer for all companies and subsidiaries. She is responsible for ongoing activities related to compliance and is part of the project oversight team for HIPAA security compliance.
Lindley leads the contract development and management processes for all of the Inland Imaging Companies.
Sarah Russell
COO : Professional Services
Sarah joined Inland Imaging in 1997 and is responsible for all aspects of physician recruitment,retention, and orientation.
Sarah was instrumental in the growth of the practice and the successful expansion of its operations. She has seen the group grow from 14 radiologists to 75 radiologists, 6 vascular surgeons and 3 physician assistants and has been an integral part of managing all of the professional aspects relating to that growth.
She was very involved in the expansion of the Professional Services Division into the Seattle market where Inland now has 10 radiologists and several professional service contracts. She has a very clear understanding of the professional issues relating to radiology, including work flow management, staff planning and physician scheduling, client contract management and quality assurance.
She is a graduate of the University of Washington.
Sara Panzeri
Manager of Operational Excellence
As Manager of Operational Excellence, Sara is responsible for the quality management and improvement initiatives for all of the Inland Imaging Companies.
She holds a BS/BM degree from University of Phoenix and is certified in a number of process and quality improvement methodologies. She is Six Sigma certified, a GE Systems “Green Belt,” and an RPI/CAP facilitator. Previously with the Pathology Associates and Medical Laboratories (PAML), Sara brings over 15 years of healthcare process improvement to the organization, including information systems and operations experience.
Sara and her team assist Inland in identifying and achieving quality objectives for the organization and monitoring performance metrics to achieve these goals. She also is retained by other organizations for her experience and consulting.
Kevin Kirk
Director of Business Development
Kevin is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and developing new and existing market opportunities for Inland Imaging and its clients.
He places special emphasis on pinpointing those opportunities which complement the products and services that have made Inland and its partners successful – he has a keen sense of how to leverage company attributes, service, strengths, and product market positioning.
Kevin has bachelor degree with distinction in business administration from The George Washington University, and a master degree in business administration from Dartmouth Tuck School of Business. Prior to joining Inland Imaging he was the general manager for Pointshare and prior to that was a senior contracting representative for a major Washington state healthcare insurance carrier.
Jeff Sund
Technology Product Director
As Product Director, Jeff is responsible for managing all aspects of the design, development, and deployment of RadWorkFlow, an innovative software application that optimizes patient scheduling and reporting for radiology practices and acute care hospitals.
Jeff is skilled in the areas of product development and evolution, targeting and understanding the particular requirements that customers are looking for in a software solution.
Jeff was previously the Director of International Services at Itron, Inc. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Chemical Engineering and has over 25 years experience in technical project management, implementation, and business development.
Shari Yamane
Chief Human Resources Officer
As the Chief Human Resources Officer, Shari is responsible for all aspects of the HR support and planning function across each of the Inland Imaging companies. She, and her highly skilled team of HR professionals, also provide support services for outside organizations and practice groups.
Shari has special expertise, and credentialing, in the areas of employee compensation and benefits planning. She has been pivotal in deploying an employee wellness initiative at Inland and standardizing numerous HR systems and management policies.
With over 25 years experience, Shari has worked in high-tech manufacturing, healthcare, and public-sector settings. She was responsible for establishing and hiring numerous foreign offices for an international manufacturing company.
She is a graduate of Eastern Washington University.
